Well, this is the new chapter of A New Life. This doesn't mean the whole RP is moving here, though. This is just the new forum for a project that's being started. A New Life is going to YouTube.
This forum is for a new re-make of the RP. We're taking characters from the original and bringing them over here. However, this is more realistic than the original RP. Because of that, there will only be regular wolves. No more vampires, werewolves, or abnormal body parts. And no more powers, either.
Also, the dragons won't be coming over here. It may be sad, but they weren't that major anyway.
We're starting over from the very beginning. From there, based on the new version, Spinelli (Lige) will write a script and find voice actors, then start to animate the new series.
The style is going to be different from the one we all used on Dragonadopters. Since there's a whole forum here to use, we can make threads between separate characters.
There will be thread sweeps every month, and any threads not posted in since the set date up until the day of the sweep will be considered finished and will be archived. If you haven't finished them, either PM one of the staff or post in the thread.
And before you start posting threads, plot some stuff out please. Exciting threads are fun, but random ones die fast and don't help the story much.
Some players did quit the RP. Well, we're still keeping their characters! They're coming over too, because they still need to be part of stuff. So they get to have the Adoptable Characters board all to themselves. Whoever can play them best can have them.
Also, try to keep as many of your characters as possible active. They're all important, so they should be involved! And to avoid complications with histories, try not to have them in too many threads at once. That way their timeline stays in order.
Another thing: PLEASE use quotation marks (these things: "") to indicate speech. No offense, but dashes just don't seem right.
And when you're in a thread, only post with a single character in a post. It might seem weird, but it helps. Normally it's only between two characters anyway.
Now there's thread labels. These help as far as sorting out what threads who's welcome in.
Private thread: (P) *insert name(s) it's private for here* - This is a thread that is reserved for certain characters, which the title lists.
Mature thread: (M) - This can be added to a thread to warn against stuff that some people might not want to see.
All Welcome/Open thread: (AW) - These threads are open to everyone.
And, of course, we have the character ranks. They're dogs and wolves, so they've got to be ranked. We're an organized bunch when it comes to this. So here they are, from highest to lowest, and with a description:
Alpha - The leader of the pack. Their word is law.
Beta - The second in command. Very highly ranked, and sometimes serves as a leader when there is no alpha present
Medic - Actually not much higher-ranked than warriors, medics are wolves that have a knowledge of herbs and remedies, and they tend to all the injuries and sicknesses of the pack. They also tend to have visions and strange dreams.
Warrior - A wolf who is responsible for hunting, bringing food to she-wolves with pups and elders, and defending the pack. They also train apprentices.
Apprentice - A young wolf at least 4 months old, in training to become a warrior.
